The day B'day girl went to work...haha!Work had been fun tho tired and sleepy except yest i was so frustrated with a team which is so fickle minded to make a decision. One moment the president say forfeit the next he said the team members wanna play but as i wait for them to finish their robot, they went roaming around the booths collecting free stuffs instead! how irritating can that be!! then today...the teams took their own sweet time to finish their robot. In fact almost all the teams had robot more than the specific measurement which is 20 by 20cm so their robots are denied entry unless they modified. Two punggol teams gave up and withdraw. One queesntown sec team also gave up and withdraw..that should have made my life a little easier but it didnt and i still had to shout to those hardheaded team. haiya..what a birthday right??
but it wasnt bad the way..in fact, first and foremost, would like to thank ZURAIDAH BINTE YAHYA for spreading the news that my bday is around the corner and indirectly reminding them my bday is getting sooner as days passed by...LOL! Soon, it seems like almost everyone knows when gonna be my birthday...that shall include the official sci ctr staffs which i'm barely close with, other temp staffs who was never interested in knowing when is my bday..lol..and also the students of NJRC BUT the fun part is when they thought it was MY 18TH BIRTHDAY INSTEAD OF 22!! HARHAR!! so accept the fact people that i look young and forever will okay? wahahha... Admit it that its funny to see people suddenly pop out to you and say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and there you are wondering "OK DO I KNOW THIS PERSON??" which eventually slowed down your reaction before you actually realized you havent said "Thank you". LOL. That i was referring to this CHIJ katong girl who belong to a team whom i was hanging out with yesterday. Somehow, through trusted sources(hehe..), they actually get to know about my birthday today and wished me. But one of the girls with her friend came back today due to unkown reason was on their way in the hall and was standing by the door to push it open while the rest of the coordinators were on our way out for lunch. So as we push the door from inside and this girl saw me and suddenly say HAPPY BIRTHDAY and there i was wondering who she is before i realize who she was and by the time i did, i was few feet away and too late to thank her. I didnt even get to see her face. so with her uniform and her able to recognise my face and wished me, i just assumed its the CHIJ team harhar.
I just love grace, one of my head in-charge for the coordinators. She can be firm at times but funny and friendly most of the times. She and idah can form one gang. While the whole staffs from referees to us the coordinators sat down after work just now for briefing tom, grace actually told them to sing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG!!! SWEET RIGHT! haha..so there they went singing for me..we had a good laugh lah..and not forgetting the wishes at 12 midnight...my first niece actually called to wish us happy birthday!! so sweet of her...and oh plus ika too..her timing so precise cos i look at the time i got the message..it was written 00:00..haha..good one ika. Thanks close friends and best friends wishing me..sue, fazah, darling suhana, kak faridah, shahrizal, rizal, alfie and if i were to name all it never ends lah..but yeah thanks to the well-wishers!!! Surprise to get wish from mahathir too..haha a friend's ex. This guy i dunno since when..we werent close in sec sch, we know each other name and face but not even a word of hi or bye ever thrown to each other during our sec school but he actually KNEW my birthday and wished me! surprise...this is the guy whom i tot always look at the people first before making friends hah...biul..sejak bila aje nak buat baik ngan aku...but im good..im cool..can always be friends..put the unhappy past behind us and treat like he is my new friend. AHAKZ!
And ohh..did i tell you i got a twin nephew too?? this one distance nephew lah..my cousin son.. one of the twin was in the team just now and i talked to him and asked if the brother going to watch the game and he said the brother birthday yesterday and celebrating it today..and im like WHAT! haha..i mean so coincidence that..he happen to be twin and his birthday was yesterday while the auntie is also a twin and her birthday is today....hmm..something new i found in my relative..ahaha..something i never knew in my 22 years of life...wakakaka...
Thanks to the clans and jamekans and chuan and adeline and yanni for the present...the jacket...the WRAPPERS FILLED WITH MEDICATED OIL AND POWDER...before i finally get to see my jacket that i wanted..wahaha..i love the jacket..i got the jacket..bluek!! i like the blueberry muffin too. They actually really but a cupcake and put the candle on it for me...just because all this while i always joked that if no one celebrate it with me, i would buy a cupcake and put a candle on it..haha..you guys actually do it!! that one for individual celebration only lar...haha but thousand thanks anyway..love the cards..nice and memorable..i love everything and i love everybody lah! hehehe..
but when NJRC ends tom, the most person i will miss and forever will would be KAYA...the crankiest-innocent-nonsense-witty girl i had known since NJRC last year. The bond grew closer among all of us..and jannah me ika, idah and kaya had always been together these few days and had time of our own. She such a clumsy joker lah...talk short-cut...she's a malaysian indian so we all spoke in malay..there was once she mentioned while eating (pardon my language), "makanan dia tak sedap mampus"..which sounded different when we always said tak sedap nak mampus. then, another was again when she was eating and she didnt take her drink and she felt like choking so she actually said "eh jom ah amik air, aku nak cekik"..when she suppose to add the 'ter' infront of the 'cekik'. I mean without it the whole sentence sound so different right..and also one time during the briefing yest, while everybody was serious when grace was speaking, she mentioned a bout this row of booths where it would be 3/4 occupied and suddenly out of nowhere and innocent expression, she said loudly, "so can i have the row P tom?" so we actually burst out laughing cos the main point is about the coordination and she was thinking about gtting the least no of teams in a row..it may not be funny but try to be with her...we've been laughing hard since monday...and im gonna miss her cos 29 oct is her marriage day..and she will be living in US after that...so she will no longer be with us...there goes another friend...hehe..haiz..tom last day...gonna miss our crushes right ika?? wanna see the pic? keke..
