HRO 06 - 11/Nov/06Backdated to fri 10/11, went to my bro house with mum and sis after reach home from school. Going to my bro house was nice since it was our first time celebrating raya in his new house in cck. My 2nd bro family were there too. It so-called a gathering. Mum must be out of her mind asking me to wear baju kurung. Not that i dont want to. First it was already 730pm when my bro arrived to fetch us. Its night and nobody would bother to see if im wearing nice. 2nd, my bro is fetching us in his car and again, no one would see what we are wearing. 3rd, its just a gathering within family. So why bother right. its fun to play around with my nieces and nephews. Except my 2nd bro son which is 8 mth now. He abit anti-social. He the first of all my bro's children to cry when i go near him. In fact he cries with everyone except for his mum, dad and maid and older sister, nadia. So i cant be bothered to go near him and hear another roar of cries. harhar. And the bad part is at 9pm, we are heading to sengkang to my 2nd bro house instead of going there first then to cck because its nearer to our house. and by the time we reach home tha fri, was 1am. Dunno can wake up for HRO or not. so tiring....
Next..HRO finally over. No more anticipation for HRO. Im glad that we can make as far as the 5th HRO since 2002 and the number of people had been steadily on the rise since it started in 2002. planned at 10am. Heard hussain the first to reach alfie house. I met up with idah since we are reaching alfie hosue around the same time. And we found the block and the floor, but dunno where the house cos practically we were searching for house with many shoes and we see none cos his house is covered with this plank so we thought its kinda like dead end or somehing..haha..until the auntie next door told us then we realize that's his house lol. Everything went great and fun. Had laughters along the way. Made jokes teasing each other as usual.
Planning of the route was a bit mess up. I dont think the houses we went this year were as much as last years. We didnt go farina, mine, yani, rahman, saiful, zainol, jumain and idah house so i assume we could have finished earlier. Could have gone from boon lay to j.east then to teck whye then yew tee to woodlands then yishun to t.payoh then hussain house the last. But instead from boon lay, we jumped to teckwhye, then back to j.east then to t.payoh then to yishun to yew tee back to woodlands before hussain house at commonwealth. Honestly, i understand some houses are not available so soon but i guess it can be more organized. We can end early but too much time was taken for the travelling time to and fro. I understood its late for some of us but if we put ourselves in hussain shoes, left with just one more house to go, we might as well finish up. We didnt ate much either cos we were full. Felt bad cos in the midnight, when the family actually waited for our arrival with much food served on the table and in the end only 7 came and barely eat. In this point of time, if it would have been my house, i would definitely sympathise with my mum after putting in lots of effort to get things ready for the visitors ya.
But as much enjoyable time i had had during the HRO, it is indeed wasnt the best HRO of all the five. Because not only the timing was cock up, and having only as little as 7 ppl to the last house, going home was with the few was lonely because usually i always had people to share cab with me at night while ika share with the others. And lucky zaidi sent me and ika home and paying all the taxi fare. It expensive ya from commonwealth to west coast to yew tee to yishun. Havent include midnight charge some more. Thanks zaidi. How nice. my stomach was also bloated cos i guess i ate non-stop. since wak house. Funny thing is i just ate little at every house and sometimes i finish the drink and sometimes didnt.
By the time i reach hussain house, i really cant take it. I felt bad for not eating much. On our way home to get taxi, i already start to feel nauseous. And as i stepped into the house, i quickly ran to the toilet cos the vomit is coming out. First i vomit the whole lot twice and i tot its done and over. Yet i'm still feeling nauseous. I stay by the bed and rest and fall asleep for 5-15 mins average before i got up to vomit again. It was really bad lar cos it actually went on until morning abt 8-9am and my stomach was really in pain after so much vomitting that i felt like dying. I was so tired from the outing and i thought i could rest and i cant even get a good sleep and kept vomitting throughout.
On sunday, went doctor. Didnt dare to eat in case i vomit again. At night i ate porridge and indeed i vomitted again. This is a nightmare cos this the first time i experience like this after HRO. it was nothing on the previous years. Perhaps its already meant for me to fell sick. But what i dont understand is when people start to question if im the only one falling sick as if im making up and exaggerating stories. What is so big deal and what is so surprising of me being the only one falling sick, huh?? Just take that it wasnt my day and my stomach wasnt as strong as the others to withheld all the food lar. I dont get it why people love to question at every tinge, small things when i dont. If people are telling me they are sick, ok lah take ur medicine and hope u get well fast. Why the need to wonder every little in-depth details and the possibilities of why i sick and the others dont. F*** lah. As if falling sick and lying crooked on the bed pressing on my stomach to withheld the pain, with not even a proper sleep, isnt bringing me enough pain and sufferings, and people still want to doubt the extend of my illness? Even til now i dont have the appetite to eat. Should i record everything and let you see? no? Im tolerating as much as i can now alright.
