Being chinese looking can be of an advantage and disadvantage. You can pretend with those who gossip about you not knowing you're actually a malay. And if their comments are just too harsh, you can be sarcastic to them and make them shock to the core after realizing the person they talked about is actually a malay. haha. Bad thing is, you can be approached for something that you dont really quite expected. For other races to be approached on christianity(referred to as Nasrani dalam konteks Islam) , its okay. But for a muslim to be approached for such, it is not an insult but just a little disrespectful to me in a sense that even to those who knows little about Islam, at the least they knew MUSLIMS don't convert. Period.


So while waiting for the idah & gang to come down, after being kicked out of the lecture room due to too much people went for the talk..lol..a woman came asking me nicely if i can helped her with the survey. Ok i cant practically run away cuz it'd be too obvious right. Since i had time to kill, i asked her what is the survey about. Once she mentioned about christianity, i was quite taken aback and regret asking! lol! Then i quickly said im a muslim and she was kind of guilt-ridden for asking me. Its in the face. hahaa. But we started talking tho & asked if i heard anything about christianity. Of course, im not racist or against other religion but defensive on your beliefs of your religion? Yes.


People say she approached you nicely. Thats the whole point. Knowing we dont convert, why do you practically continue talking? Of course, there must be something up your sleeves right? I give you one analogy. A salesman selling you a product. He knew you're not interested but insist on just giving him 5 minutes to tell you abit about the product. He must have got motive right for doing so? What's the motive? He hope along the way, he able to change your mind about not buying. He psycho you til you felt you should buy. BINGO! So, Did u get the point im trying to put across? But in any way, wont you be taken aback if a muslim ask you who is not a muslim, about Islam? I mean would you actually able to accept it and sat down and or discuss talk about it? no right? And why is there a need for you to learnt abt it when you arent even interested in the first place? I just did.


There's few tick box on the flyer and i pointed those i heard before. She started explaining to me about christianity. Of course the similarities between us is that, we believe Jesus exist but we dont worship him like the christians ok. Yeah in a way i do learnt abit about christianity. LOL. I mean it isnt wrong right asalkan hati mau betul sudahlah. The meaning 'christmas' actually stands for christ-M(aster)-A(nd)-S(aviour). Ok non-christians...you learnt something today lol!


Dah bual-bual tu, aku pun story lah balik pasal Islam. Pada diorg, diorg anggap Nabi Isa tu Tuhan, sebab dia boleh hidupkan yang mati and do semua perkara yang luar biasa sedangkan org biasa takleh. Tapi dalam hati aku kata, Nabi Isa as diberi kuasa luar biasa kerana ingin membuktikan kewujudan Allah. Kerana terlalu hebat tentangan kaumnya, Allah telah kurniakan beberapa mukjizat yang luarbiasa kepada Nabi Isa, agar orang ramai insaf akan kebenaran Nabi Isa sebagai orang yang diutus Allah. Dia kata, kita tak lepas dari dosa dan hanya Nabi Isa saja yang mampu memohon ampun dari Tuhan untuk mengampunkan dosa mereka. Dia kata, Tuhan telah menghantar Nabi Isa untuk memikul segala dosa mereka. Bagi mereka, Nabi Isa adalah Tuhan yang turun sebagai Nabi Isa. Dalam hati, aku kata, Allah adalah Tuhan dan Nabi Isa hanyalah Nabi utusan Allah. Bagi mereka, diorg kena patuh pada ajaran mereka to masuk syurga. If break one of the rules, diorg masuk neraka. Diorg kata diorg percaya ada malaikat yg tulis the good and bad deeds. Kita pun ada malaikat Atib yg tulis amalan kita and Malaikat Raqib yang tulis kejahatan kita.


She asked how we know that our sins are forgiven? And i say, because we pray 5 times a day(bual cam real eh..ahaha..), and in our prayers we seek for His forgiveness. And also, when we did bad and as long as we regret what we did and have a sense of repentance, we believe He will forgive us because He is the Most Merciful. Then she ask, if those who did bad will they get punished? And i said, we received punishment starting from the time we are buried. (Betul ape..Kalo malaikat Munkar & Nankir soal pasal agama, kita tak tau cuz cetek agama..kena seksa gak per..). Because there's one part i told her about we dont have standards like the christians on how many good deeds we have to do to be able to get into heaven, we just do as many as we can and avoid whatever bad we can. Then she ask, even if we do as many good deeds, but because we humans are never free from mistakes(she's right..), how sure are we that these good deeds will bring us to heaven? I said, that is only for Him to decide. Nak aje aku cakap, dalam islam, amalan sebesar biji sawi pun is counted OK! So even if its something good we are immune to until we dont see it as good deeds, di sisi Allah tetap satu kebaikan ok. heheh. But its true wat. Just like mengumpat is something we are so immuned to which we dont even see it as a sin anymore but in God's eyes, it is still a sin. Get it?


She asked how we know that good deeds is accepted like even if we did good but in our heart we are not sincere, its still not considered good what. So how you know if you're actually being sincere? Aku cakap, "of course, if our hearts are not sincere, then its not considered a good deed lah. But we know what if we are helping insincerely, in our heart, we will go like..iyo, mafan ah this girl or grudging that kinda thing..but if we are sincere, we know how it feels what..like we just help with no hesitant.."


Pendek kata...susah betul nak translate melayu ke english nie. And even more difficult to explain in details about stuffs. Because the basic itself is already hard to be made understood. I mean, you talk more, you made it sound complex and made them even doubt our religion. So why create doubts when they are interested in the first place? so let her meet somebody of higher knowledge than me who able to explain to her more in details in a comprehensive ways.
She even asked if we could meet up and exhange views and i said maybe. And she said how about exchanging numbers, and i said no thanks. Ok of course i know there's a catch. Org baik zaman skrg lah kena jaga jaga. Sebab org zaman sekrg penuh tipu daya. And bukan krg tak tau activity diorg. Giat sungguh nak tarik org masuk agama dia. Asik baik otak aku masih waras and masih ada pegangan agama. Dia ingat aku bodoh nak jatuh kat muslihat dia. Haiyo.


Tapi kesian jugak, dah experience cam gini, teringat kat budak budak yang bangsa betul cetek agama..tak amik tau langsung. Kalau dtg aje benda cam nie pas tu senang je terpedaya. Belum datang Dajjal..pemfitnah akhir zaman lagik. By then, i cant even imagine, because they are so ignorant about islam, tipu daya Dajjal pun diorg senang terpedaya. Selisih jauhkan. Mudah-mudahan cucu-cicit darah daging aku dan keluarga aku semua dijauhi fitnah dajjal...amin.


My sister who worked as a photographer under healthcare said, there was once this malay guy operate on his tongue due to infection or something, and it was so painful he actually said "Jesus Christ!". And one of her malay guy friend who had a christian devoted girlfriend, actually convert to christian. Astafirughallahalazim. Na'uzubillahminzalik. Dah convert, semangat baca Injil plak tu...patut jugak kakak aku sound...Quran kau taknak baca, bible kau baca. hahaha..funny tho but it make sense. Buat ape nak gi agama lain. Islam tu kan indah. Nafsu je yg buat kita menyeleweng. By the way, how did that woman end up in the school doing these stuffs? lol.


By the way, nie doa yang bagus. Semoga kita semua selalu berada di pimpinanNya. Amin.

Aku memohon kata-kata yang benar ketika redha dan semasa marah, aku memohon kepadaMu kesederhanaan semasa susah atau senang, aku memohon kepadaMu nikmat yang tidak berkurangan, aku memohon kepadaMu zuriat yang sejuk dipandang mata dan tidak akan putus, aku memohon kepadaMu keredhaan selepas ditakdirkan (terjadi sesuatu), aku memohon kepadaMu kehidupan yang baik selepas mati, aku memohon kepadaMu kelazatan melihat wajahMu, kerinduan untuk bertemu denganMu tanpa kesusahan yang memudharatkan dan fitnah yang menyesatkan. Ya Allah, hiasilah kami dengan perhiasan iman dan jadikanlah kami petunjuk kepada orang yang mendaoat petunjuk....ameen"
